Banner Alignment: centering and right align

Last Updated:
By default, the ad tag of an Inline Media Ad zone generates a banner aligned to the left side of the page. This article describes how you can align a banner to the right side of the page, or place it in the middle. To control alignment, you need to wrap the ad tag in a DIV element. You don't need to be a coding expert: you'll be fine if you follow the instructions here below.

Centering the banner

To center align the banner, write the following lines of code before and after the ad tag.
<div style='text-align:center;'> Your ad tag goes here... </div>

Aligning to the right

To align the banner to the right, write the following lines of code before and after the ad tag.
<div style='text-align:right;'> Your ad tag goes here... </div>

Aligning to the left

By default, the banner is already aligned to the left. You don't need to change the code. However, in some cases the CSS rules of the page may influence the alignment of the banner. To force the banner to be aligned to the left, write the following lines of code before and after the ad tag.
<div style='text-align:left;'> Your ad tag goes here... </div>
