API Keys1. Overview 2. Creating an API key 3. Management via the API
Overview
Use the API to pull event data to your own server - great for backups or further analysis. The API also allows you to generate a list of campaigns or zones.
Creating an API key
Click Settings from the menu at the top, then choose Reports API. Click the blue button to create a new API key.
Settings
- API Name. Internal friendly name.
- API Key. The API key that should be added to each request. More information in the API Docs.
- Status. Only Active keys have access. Disable (or remove) the key if you no longer wish to grant access.
- Assigned Contact. If the contact is set, only campaigns and zones from that contact is returned in the response. Assign a contact via the Properties tab of a campaign and zone.
- Whitelisted IPs. Limit API access to your server's IP only. By default, the API can be accessed anywhere in the world using the correct API key.
Management via the API
The API is read-only. This means you can't use it to create, edit or remove campaigns, creatives or zones.
